Larry R. Hicks (born 1943) is a United States federal judge.
Born in Evanston, Illinois, Hicks received a B.S. from the University of Nevada in 1965 and a J.D. from the University of Colorado in 1968. He was a law clerk, Washoe County District Attorney's Office, Nevada in 1968. He was an Attorney, Washoe County District Attorney's Office, Nevada from 1968 to 1974. He was a District attorney of Washoe County District Attorney's Office, Nevada from 1975 to 1979. He was in private practice in Nevada from 1979 to 2001.
Hicks is a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. Hicks was nominated by President George W. Bush on September 4, 2001, to a seat vacated by Johnnie B. Rawlinson. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on November 5, 2001, and received his commission on November 7, 2001.
